Background

Apple's first USB-C power adapter, designed specifically for the 12-inch MacBook. Because it used an early USB PD protocol (only 5V and 14.5V rails, lacking 9V), it had limited fast-charging compatibility with later iPhones and iPad Pros. It was discontinued in 2018 and replaced by the 30W model.
