Background

Designed for the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display. Featuring an integrated cable design, the connector was upgraded to a thinner MagSafe 2 (T-style) version. While providing the same wattage as the previous generation, its changed form factor means it cannot be used directly with older MacBooks without an adapter.
