Apple Drive Module (SATA/SAS)
Background
Apple Drive Modules were hot-swappable hard drives for Xserve and Xserve RAID. The modules had LEDs indicating drive health and activity. Each drive module was connected to an independent bus on both Xserve and Xserve RAID. A locking mechanism held the modules in place. They were available in ATA, SATA, and SAS configurations.
