The Apple Watch Series 12 was announced on September 9, 2026 and went on sale September 18. It runs the S11 chip with an all-new health sensing system: larger, more efficient green LEDs enable all-day heart rate tracking every 5 seconds (60x more frequent background reads), HRV sampling is up to 24x more frequent, and a new 0-10 Readiness index and sleep score debuted. New finishes include dark bronze and light gold aluminum, radiant gold titanium, and the return of pearl white and night blue precision ceramic cases. Aluminum models move to Ceramic Shield 2 (+60% durability over Ion-X glass). Battery life is 24 hours normal / 38 hours Low Power. Prices start at ¥2,999 (China).
