HomeView
Welcome, Apple HomeView.
Background
On October 13, 2026, Apple introduced HomeView, a smart display available in tabletop and wall-mounted forms, both shipping November 13 at $299 (U.S.). HomeView runs on the A18 chip with a 7-inch Liquid Retina display (1088×1088 resolution at 220 ppi, 500 nits maximum brightness) and a 12MP Center Stage camera that recognizes household members to adapt content to each user. The tabletop model houses two custom full-range drivers, a custom down-firing woofer, and dual force-cancelling passive radiators on a domed speaker base connected by a stainless steel hinge that tilts smoothly; it weighs 952 grams. Wireless includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0, and Thread, with an ambient light sensor, temperature and humidity sensor, and accelerometer onboard, and it requires an iPhone or iPad running iOS 27.2 or later. The tabletop version ships with a 1.5 m USB-C cable and a 30W power adapter, while the wall-mounted version's mount, USB-C cable, and power adapter (minimum 20W) are each sold separately.
