iBook G4 (12-inch)(12-inch, 2004 Early)
iLife to go. The new iBooks.
Background
Introduced in April 2004, the iBook G4 (Early 2004) was essentially a speed-bump of the existing iBook G4 line. In addition to faster processors, the iBook G4 (Early 2004) models had a larger L2 cache, twice the on-board RAM, and a faster combo drive. The iBook G4 (1.0/1.2GHz) shipped in 3 configurations: 12.1"/1.0 GHz/256 MB/30 GB/$1,099 U.S., 14.1"/1.0 GHz/256 MB/40 GB/$1,299 U.S., and 14.1"/1.2 GHz/256 MB/60 GB/$1,499 U.S. The DVD-R SuperDrive was available as a BTO option on 14.1" models.
