Released in April 2008, the iMac (Early 2008) was a speed-bump of the iMac (Mid 2007). It shipped in three configurations: 20"/2.4 GHz/1 GB RAM/250 GB HD/128 MB VRAM/SuperDrive/$1199 U.S., 20"/2.66 GHz/2 GB RAM/320 GB HD/256 MB VRAM/SuperDrive/$1499 U.S., and 24"/2.8 GHz/2 GB RAM/320 GB HD/256 MB VRAM/SuperDrive/$1799 U.S. A high-end BTO model was also available, with a 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Extreme processor and a 500 GB hard drive, for $2199 U.S.
