Background
On 24 September 2013, the 2012 iMac model was updated with 4th-generation Intel Haswell processors and Nvidia 7xx series GPU, promising up to 1.4x improvements in performance. It also has 802.11ac Wi-Fi, which is capable of reaching speeds up to 1300 Mbps and PCIe-based flash storage, offering up to 1.5x the performance of previous-generation iMacs.
