Background
Announced in November 2006, the MacBook (Late 2006) was a speed bump of the original MacBook line to include faster Intel Core 2 Duo processors. The MacBook (Late 2006) was available in three configurations: 1.83 GHz/512 MB RAM/60 GB HD/ComboDrive/White/$1099 U.S., 2.0 GHz/1 GB RAM/80 GB HD/SuperDrive/White/$1299 U.S., and 2.0 GHz/1 GB RAM/120 GB HD/SuperDrive/Black/$1499 U.S. All models were replaced in May 2007 by the MacBook (Mid 2007).
