On October 28, 2026, Apple introduced the first MacBook Pro models with a PROLED XDR display, bringing tandem OLED, Multi-Touch and Dynamic Island to the Mac for the first time. The 14-inch and 16-inch models feature M5 Pro and M5 Max chips in lighter, thinner enclosures (from about 1.38 kg / 1.82 kg), available November 6.
